Dr. Ammar Idlibi received his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine which is one of the most prestigious dental schools in the country. He completed a two year post-graduate program in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University school of Dental Medicine and received his certificate of specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts in 1992. The program that Dr. Ammar attended at Tufts University is one of the strongest specialty training programs in the U.S. with special emphasis on behavior management and early treatment of malocclusion (orthodontics).

After completing the Pediatric Dentistry program at Tufts, he also spent three years of fellowship at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. He has also completed numerous continuing education courses in Orthodontics and has extensive experience in early treatment of malocclusion, bio-progressive therapy and full orthodontic treatment for adolescents.

He then became Board Certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1994 and was re-certified by the same Board in 2004 (only one-third of the country’s pediatric Dentists are successful in getting Board certified).  He is now a Fellow and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
